Senior Ecologist - Warrington

We're looking for a Senior Ecologist to join a well-established, multidisciplinary environmental consultancy based in Warrington. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced ecologist looking to lead projects, support junior team members, and contribute to high-quality environmental outcomes.

You'll be working on a variety of projects across sectors including residential, infrastructure, renewable energy, and conservation. The role involves survey planning and coordination, reporting, licensing, stakeholder engagement, and providing clear, practical ecological advice to clients.

You will ideally have;

  • A degree in ecology or a related subject

  • Significant experience in ecological consultancy

  • Strong field skills and experience in a range of habitat and species surveys

  • Ideally a protected species licence (e.g., bats, great crested newts)

  • Excellent report writing and ability to deliver high-quality outputs on time

  • A solid understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy

  • Experience in project management and client liaison

  • Full CIEEM membership (or eligibility)

  • A full, clean UK driving licence
