We are seeking an experienced Associate Sustainability & Carbon Consultant to join our growing Carbon and Sustainability team. This senior position combines project delivery, technical leadership, people management and business development. You will play a critical leadership role in our London-based team, helping shape our local presence, support the growth and development of our people, and deliver high quality outcomes for our clients.
ResponsibilitiesLead and develop our London Carbon & Sustainability team, providing line management, mentorship and technical leadership.
Direct the successful delivery of sustainability and carbon projects for public and private sector clients.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.
Lead and support winning work activities, including bids, proposals and client engagement.
Provide technical expertise across sustainability, carbon and net zero advisory services.
Support the development of junior consultants and contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture.
Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to deliver integrated and innovative solutions.
Qualifications- Relevant years of experience in sustainability, carbon management, ESG or environmental consultancy.
- Strong technical expertise in sustainability strategy, sustainable infrastructure, ESG reporting, whole life carbon, carbon management or net zero transition planning.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary projects and managing client relationships.
- Experience managing and developing teams with a supportive and people focused leadership style.
- Demonstrable track record of winning work and contributing to business growth.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
- Educated to degree level in an environmental/engineering related discipline and will be chartered with a recognised relevant professional body.
