Job Description
We are seeking a highly ambitious, self governing individual to join our team to provide high quality ecological services.
Responsibilities- Deliver pragmatic, accurate advice to clients.
- Undertake Ecological surveys, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (Phase 1 Habitat Survey/ UKHab) and Protected Species Surveys, independently in line with appropriate guidance.
- Independently produce a variety of ecological reports including PEA, EcIA, protected species reports, biodiversity metric calculations, HRA screening assessments, management plans and method statements to a high standard and in line with best practice guidance.
- Obtain Natural England Licences (bats and/or water vole is essential) and be able to undertake and implement appropriate mitigation.
- Be an active member of the E3P Ecology team, working collaboratively with the wider team and acting as a mentor for junior staff members.
- Undertake management responsibilities in line with company structure.
- Work alongside the other disciplines within E3P, to further our service offering.
- Advise clients appropriately at all stages of the planning process.
- Represent the company at networking events and industry social events.
- Develop relationships with clients, as well as win new work for the company.
- Relevant undergraduate degree or higher.
- Full member of CIEEM.
- At least 5 years of professional experience. Experience working within consultancy is essential.
- Proven track record of successful delivery of projects, including examples of project management.
- Botanical skills equivalent to a FISC level 4 or above.
