Salary: £65,000.00 to £75,000.00 per annum

This role is for a Safety, Health and Environment Manager who will sit on the senior leadership team and provide strategic direction and practical delivery for SHE.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the next phase of SHE development across the factory, helping leaders at every level build a workplace where people thrive.
- Work alongside the Factory Manager and leadership team to embed SHE considerations in operational, technical and business decisions.
- Shape the factory's vision, objectives and long term ambitions with leadership.
- Develop leadership capability and accountability across all functions.
- Drive cultural and organisational change that strengthens ownership of SHE throughout the business.
- Identify future risks, opportunities and priorities that support sustainable performance improvement.
- Build engagement and commitment across employees, contractors and stakeholders.
- Lead and develop a team of SHE professionals, and help grow the next generation of SHE talent.
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders across the factory.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent desirable but not essential if you can demonstrate exceptional leadership, influencing and change management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Prior SHE and Risk Management experience.
- Strong strategic expertise, plus the hands on ability when required.
- Fast paced general manufacturing, production experience, ideally from a Food or Beverage company.
- Experienced coach and mentor who can achieve success through others.
