Are you ready to lead Health, Safety and Environmental performance at a major manufacturing site within one of the world's leading industrial organisations?

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager to lead the HSE function at a large, single-site manufacturing operation that forms part of a global organisation with operations across more than 90 countries. This is a highly visible leadership role, responsible for driving continuous improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance and partnering with operational teams to embed best practice across the site.

You'll play a key role in fostering a proactive safety and environmental culture, influencing stakeholders at all levels and ensuring the site continues to meet the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance. Responsibilities
  • Act as the site's lead HSE specialist, providing expert guidance to operational teams and working closely with regulators and external stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement by leading incident investigations, analysing root causes and implementing effective corrective actions across the site
  • Support the Site Leadership Team by influencing strategic decisions, embedding best practice and promoting a strong, proactive safety culture
  • Manage environmental compliance, including waste management, emergency preparedness, audits and regulatory inspections
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing HSE within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of COMAH regulations
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and drive positive safety behaviours
