This is an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Ecologist to work on varied projects across the region, with opportunities to develop your technical skills and professional experience within a supportive team.
The Consultant Ecologist will be involved in:
Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and ecological impact assessments
Protected species surveys, mitigation and licensing
Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and monitoring
Habitat and botanical surveys
Ecological management plans and construction-related ecological support
Ecological Clerk of Works duties where required
Supporting clients through planning and development projects

Requirements:
Experience working within ecological consultancy
Relevant ecology, environmental science or related qualification
Experience with protected species and habitat surveys
Understanding of BNG, ecological assessment and planning
Strong report writing and communication skills
Full UK driving licence
Full right to work in the UK
Living in Wolverhampton or within a commutable distance of the office
