As a Consultant Ecologist, you will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of ecological projects, from initial site assessments through to reporting and providing specialist advice. You will undertake a variety of habitat and protected species surveys, contribute to Biodiversity Net Gain projects, prepare high-quality technical reports and support clients throughout the planning process.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Ecologist to gain exposure to a varied project portfolio while continuing to develop their technical knowledge and progress their career within an established and growing environmental consultancy.
To be considered for the Consultant Ecologist position, you will need:
- A relevant degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
Previous experience working within an ecological consultancy
Practical experience undertaking ecological and/or protected species surveys
Strong technical report-writing and communication skills
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Full right to work in the UK
Living in Middlesbrough or within a reasonable commuting distance
