Your new role

You will be involved in the delivery of a broad range of ecological projects from survey through to reporting and client liaison. Working alongside experienced ecologists and project managers, you will support project delivery while developing your own technical and commercial capabilities.

Responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking protected species and habitat surveys
• Producing high-quality technical reports including PEAs, EcIAs and species surveys
• Assisting with project management activities
• Supporting planning and development projects
• Liaising with clients, local authorities and project stakeholders
• Contributing to Biodiversity Net Gain and habitat enhancement projects
• Supporting junior team members where appropriate

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
• Consultancy experience within ecological assessment and survey work
• Strong report writing skills
• Good understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
• Experience delivering ecological surveys and assessments
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A real passion for ecology and good practice
• A collaborative, positive approach
• Full UK driving licence and vehicle

Membership of CIEEM, FISC qualification and protected species licences would be advantageous.
